Let’s Move This Summer

Let’s Move This Summer is an 8-week Summer Session that will run from July 5 – August 28 featuring classes with Miss Diana and Miss Heather!

Mondays (Diana)

Time Class
6:00-7:00pm

Structured Improv Class 12+

This class will be a safe environment to create, explore and move. We will use different improv tools and techniques to assist in finding personal style of movement. In the final weeks we will use these tools to create solo and group dances.

7:00-8:00pm

Yoga Ballet Barre Class 14+

This fun and upbeat class works all the major muscle groups with simple and repetitive ballet barre work and yoga stretches to create long, lean muscles. You will sweat and have fun! It is sure to inspire the dancer in you. A yoga mat is required.

8:00-9:00pm

Vinyasa Flow Yoga 14+

Prepare to sweat and work hard with this mid-fast paced flow class which focusses on your core while synchronizing your breath with movement. A yoga mat is required.

Wednesdays (Heather)

Time Class
6:00-7:00pm

Intro to Acro for ages 6+

Come explore as we use acrobatic moves in combination with dance technique while focusing on conditioning, balance, strength, control and flexibility.

7:00-8:00pm

Jumps & Turns Technique class for ages 12+

Have fun this summer while continuing your dance training. This class will focus on the following areas:

  • Conditioning
  • Stretching & Strengthening
  • Technical Work

 

Pricing

1 Class a week for 8 weeks is $75.00
A discount of 10% will be given to families who register for 2 or more classes a week with either Diana or Heather. The fee will have to be split according to Instructor.

Registration fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable. All payments must be made to Diana Harpwood or Heather King in the form of cash, cheque or E-mail transfer. Limited spots available! Please contact the office to register.
